Enthusiastic Expert Passionate About the Security Industry
HOW IT ALL BEGAN
My name is Basia Pietrawska and security industry is one of my biggest passions.
It all started when I first moved to the US to pursue a Master’s of Science in Criminology at the University of Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, I started working as a crime risk analyst and things took off pretty quickly from there. From developing custom strategies to assisting with security audits to delivering intelligence at conferences, I got to experience many sides of the industry. As someone who is passionate and curious about a lot of aspects of this field, I am excited to finally bring many of them together within IntelFusion Partners.
One aspect of my career that I really enjoy is supporting industry associations.
The American Bankers Association, the Restaurant Loss Prevention and Security Association, the Loss Prevention Research Council, or ASIS International are just some of the organizations I work with. From analytical and consulting support to serving as a group leader or a board member, this broad experience has shown me the importance of collaboration among security practitioners, law enforcement, legal, and other industry experts. That is exactly what inspired me to form IntelFusion Partners.

With a Master’s of Science in Criminology from the University of Pennsylvania and over 15 years of experience in crime risk intelligence, Basia has worked closely with organizations to develop cutting-edge strategies for mitigating crime and loss.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Basia serves on multiple industry boards and committees, leveraging her knowledge to create impactful guidelines and foster collaboration across sectors. Her dedication to promoting safer communities and reducing risk has made her a trusted voice in the industry.
